Profile
Explain the value of persistent identity records for ongoing compliance, monitoring, and re-verification.
A Profile represents a persistent identity record in AiPrise. Profiles allow you to store information about a user (KYC) or business (KYB) beyond a single verification. Using profiles, you can maintain long-term identity data, run multiple verifications over time, perform re-verification, enable AML monitoring, and track the full audit history of an entity.
Profiles provide:
- A permanent ID for a user or business
- A place to store core identity attributes
- A container for all verification sessions run for that entity
- Metadata for tracking and correlation
- Support for ongoing compliance workflows (e.g., periodic reviews, AML monitoring)
Profiles are especially useful when you work with customers or businesses on a recurring basis, or when regulatory requirements mandate continuous monitoring rather than one-time verification.
Why Profiles Exist
Without profiles, every verification is isolated—no prior context, no continuity. Profiles enable:
- Long-term identity persistence: Store structured identity data that can be updated as customer information changes.
- Multiple verifications for the same entity: Link all past verification sessions to one profile record.
- Ongoing compliance: Enable continual AML monitoring, periodic KYC/KYB reviews, and triggered re-verifications.
- Relationship-level insights: Understand overall approval/rejection trends and risk history for each customer or business.
- Structured management of related entities: For KYB, profiles also handle officers, UBOs, and related companies.
