Company data, board members and register extracts for Swiss businesses
Overview
AiPrise verifies Swiss businesses against the Central Business Name Index (Zefix), the Swiss Official Gazette of Commerce (SOGC / SHAB) and the cantonal commercial registers. A business verification returns the company profile, board members and signatories, and the register extract.

Statuses and legal forms
Every result carries the register's own status in registration_info.status and an AiPrise status in registration_info.normalised_status. The normalised status is one of Active, Suspended, Dormant, Dissolved / Struck Off, In Liquidation / Insolvency or Unknown.
| Register status | Normalised status |

| ACTIVE | Active |
Legal forms come back in German, French or Italian in entity_type, for example Aktiengesellschaft, Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung, SA, Sagl and Einzelunternehmen.
Quirks and gotchas
Country-specific behaviour to know before you integrate.
| Quirk | Details |
|---|---|
| Three languages | Legal forms come back in the language of the canton: Aktiengesellschaft, SA and Sagl can all appear. |
| Board titles are not normalised | Titles such as Chairperson of the Board and Management Board Member come back with the normalised role UNKNOWN. Read the role name. |
| No shareholders | Shareholders are not returned. Collect them from the business if you need them. |
| Send the UID | Send the CHE UID. Older CH- register numbers also work. |
Limits
- Shareholders are not returned.
- UBOs come back only for few companies.
