Overview
AiPrise verifies Singapore businesses against the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA). A business verification returns the company profile, directors, company secretaries and shareholders, and for registered businesses, the owners or partners.

Statuses and legal forms
Every result carries the register's own status in registration_info.status and an AiPrise status in registration_info.normalised_status. The normalised status is one of Active, Suspended, Dormant, Dissolved / Struck Off, In Liquidation / Insolvency or Unknown.

Legal forms come back in capitals in entity_type, for example EXEMPT PRIVATE COMPANY LIMITED BY SHARES and PRIVATE COMPANY LIMITED BY SHARES.
Quirks and gotchas
Country-specific behaviour to know before you integrate.

| Gazetted is already struck off | Gazetted To Be Struck Off normalises to Dissolved / Struck Off, even though the strike-off is not final yet. |
| Lapsed business registrations | A sole proprietorship or partnership that was not renewed shows Cancelled (Non-Renewal), which normalises to Dissolved / Struck Off. |
Limits
- UBOs, articles of association and financial statements are not returned.
- Documents are ordered on request, not returned with the verification.
