Overview
AiPrise verifies Spanish businesses against the Mercantile Registry (Registro Mercantil) and the Official Gazette of the Mercantile Registry (BORME). A business verification returns the company profile, directors and other officers, and filed annual accounts.

Send the NIF (formerly CIF) as business_entity_id, with country_code set to ES.

Statuses and legal forms
Every result carries the register's own status in registration_info.status and an AiPrise status in registration_info.normalised_status. The normalised status is one of Active, Suspended, Dormant, Dissolved / Struck Off, In Liquidation / Insolvency or Unknown.

Legal forms come back as abbreviations or in Spanish in entity_type, for example SL, Sociedad Limitada, SA and SLP.
Quirks and gotchas

Limits
- Shareholders and UBOs are not returned.
- Annual accounts come back only when filed.
