RUT data, managers, representatives and shareholders for Chilean businesses
Overview
AiPrise verifies Chilean businesses by their RUT against the tax service (SII) and the Registry of Companies and Partnerships (Registro de Empresas y Sociedades). A business verification returns the company profile, activity codes, managers, the representatives registered with the SII and, when the company has a formation record, its shareholders.

Documents come back with the verification. These are typical times from production, not a service-level commitment: set timeouts well above them, or use callbacks.
Company types
Every entity with a RUT is covered. Shareholders and managers come back only for companies with a formation record.

Send the RUT as tax_identification_number, with country_code set to CL.

Statuses and legal forms
Every result carries the register's own status in registration_info.status and an AiPrise status in registration_info.normalised_status. The normalised status is one of Active, Suspended, Dormant, Dissolved / Struck Off, In Liquidation / Insolvency or Unknown.

Legal forms come back in lowercase in entity_type, for example spa, ltda and e.i.r.l.
Quirks and gotchas
Country-specific behaviour to know before you integrate.

| Send the RUT, not a name | The lookup runs on the RUT in tax_identification_number. |
| Shareholders only with a formation record | About half the companies have a formation record. For the rest, shareholders, managers, the legal form and the registration date come back empty. |
| Role names | Roles come back as MANAGER, SII REPRESENTATIVE (representative registered with the SII) and SHAREHOLDER. |
Limits
- Shareholders and managers are available only for companies with a formation record.
- Beneficial owners and financial statements are not available.
