AiPrise verifies Hungarian businesses against the Company Register (e-Cégjegyzék). A business verification returns the company profile, managing directors, shareholders, the register extract and financial statements.

Identifiers

Send the company registration number as business_entity_id, with country_code set to HU.

Statuses and legal forms

Every result carries the register's own status in registration_info.status and an AiPrise status in registration_info.normalised_status. The normalised status is one of Active, Suspended, Dormant, Dissolved / Struck Off, In Liquidation / Insolvency or Unknown.

Legal forms come back in Hungarian in entity_type, for example Korlátolt felelősségű társaság (Kft.) and Egyéni vállalkozó (sole trader).

Quirks and gotchas

Country-specific behaviour to know before you integrate.

Quirk	Details
Moved to another court	`Törölve (illetékességváltás)` means the record was moved to another court's register. It maps to `Unknown`; search again by name to find the current record.
Directors are not normalised	Managing directors come back with the role name `Managing Director (Executive Officer)` and the normalised role `UNKNOWN`. Read the role name.
Slower than most	A verification typically takes about a minute. Use callbacks.
Compulsory strike-off	`kényszertörlés alatt` (under compulsory strike-off) maps to `Dissolved / Struck Off` while the procedure is still running.

Limits

UBOs are not returned.
Financial statements come back only when filed.
