Overview
AiPrise verifies Chinese businesses against the National Enterprise Credit Information Publicity System (NECIPS). A business verification returns the company profile, the legal representative, officers and shareholders, and a company profile document you can order.

Statuses and legal forms
Every result carries the register's own status in registration_info.status and an AiPrise status in registration_info.normalised_status. The normalised status is one of Active, Suspended, Dormant, Dissolved / Struck Off, In Liquidation / Insolvency or Unknown.

Legal forms come back in English in entity_type, for example Limited Liability Company (Individual Shareholders), Joint-stock limited company (Private, Individual Shareholders) and Individually-owned business.
Quirks and gotchas
Country-specific behaviour to know before you integrate.

| Send the USCC | The 18-character USCC finds the company directly. Name search returns at most 20 matches. |
| Search in Chinese | English names often rank poorly. Search with the Chinese legal name, or send the USCC. |
| Full or basic profile | Depending on how your workflow is set up, a result is a full profile or a basic one. A basic profile has the name, status, registration date and address, but no legal form, legal representative, officers or shareholders. Basic results usually show the status In operation (opening). |
| Combined role titles | The register writes several roles in one title, for example Executive Director, Manager. They come back as separate roles. A person who is both an officer and a shareholder comes back once, with both roles. |
| Revoked is not closed yet | Revoked, Awaiting Deregistered means the business licence was revoked but the company is not yet deregistered. It normalises to Dissolved / Struck Off. |
Limits
- UBOs, articles of association and financial statements are not returned.
- Officers and shareholders come with the full profile only, and not for every company.
