AiPrise verifies Icelandic businesses against the Business Register of Iceland Revenue and Customs (Skatturinn / RSK). A business verification returns the company profile, directors and ultimate beneficial owners (UBOs).

Identifiers
Send the kennitala as business_entity_id, with country_code set to IS.

Statuses and legal forms
Every result carries the register's own status in registration_info.status and an AiPrise status in registration_info.normalised_status. The normalised status is one of Active, Suspended, Dormant, Dissolved / Struck Off, In Liquidation / Insolvency or Unknown.

Legal forms come back in Icelandic in entity_type, for example Einkahlutafélag (ehf) and Hlutafélag, almennt (hf).
Quirks and gotchas
Country-specific behaviour to know before you integrate.

| Kennitala hyphen | The kennitala works with or without the hyphen. Watch for invisible characters pasted after it. |
| Deputy roles are not normalised | Roles such as Reserve Director and Procuration Holder come back with the normalised role UNKNOWN. Read the role name. |
Limits
- Shareholders are not returned.
- Data comes from a small number of verifications so far.
