Overview
AiPrise verifies Indonesian businesses against the company register of the Directorate General of General Legal Administration (AHU), Ministry of Law. A business verification returns the company profile, directors, commissioners and shareholders. Business identification numbers (NIB) and tax numbers (NPWP) are checked separately against the Ministry of Investment's records.

Statuses and legal forms
Every result carries the register's own status in registration_info.status and an AiPrise status in registration_info.normalised_status. The normalised status is one of Active, Suspended, Dormant, Dissolved / Struck Off, In Liquidation / Insolvency or Unknown.

Legal forms come back in entity_type as short codes, for example PT,TERTUTUP (private PT), CV and PP.
Quirks and gotchas
Country-specific behaviour to know before you integrate.

| Exact legal name | The register report needs the exact registered name. A result is only returned when one company matches your name, ignoring case and punctuation. A leading PT, CV or PP is ignored if that still leaves one match. |
| Slow | The register report takes minutes, not seconds. Use callbacks. |
| Officer titles in Indonesian | Directors (DIREKTUR, DIREKTUR UTAMA) and commissioners (KOMISARIS, KOMISARIS UTAMA) keep their Indonesian titles and the normalised role UNKNOWN. |
| Registration date often missing | About half of results have no registration date. |
Limits
- Register documents are not returned.
- UBOs are returned for a few companies only.
