AiPrise verifies Thai businesses against the Department of Business Development (DBD), Ministry of Commerce. A business verification returns the company profile, the representative's name and the directors.

Send the juristic person registration number as business_entity_id, with country_code set to TH.

Statuses and legal forms

Every result carries the register's own status in registration_info.status and an AiPrise status in registration_info.normalised_status. The normalised status is one of Active, Suspended, Dormant, Dissolved / Struck Off, In Liquidation / Insolvency or Unknown.

Every Thai result in production had the status Operating. Legal forms come back in English in entity_type, for example Company Limited, Public Company Limited and Ordinary Partnership.

Quirks and gotchas

Country-specific behaviour to know before you integrate.

Quirk	Details
Directors have no role title	Directors come back as related persons without a role title, so their normalised role is `UNKNOWN`. Treat them as directors.
Representative is a field	The representative's name comes back as a company field, not as a related person.
Leading zero	If you send a 12-digit number, a leading `0` is added to make the 13-digit registration number.

Limits

Shareholders and UBOs are not returned.
Register documents are not returned.
