This page lists the government registries and data sources used by AiPrise for eKYC (database-level identity verification) across supported countries.
Govt Registry vs Non Registry eKYC Checks
- Govt Registry: A direct government database against which a specific ID number is verified (e.g., Aadhaar/UIDAI in India, RENAPER in Argentina).
- Non Registry eKYC Checks: Multi-source database verification using credit bureaus, electoral rolls, population registers, and other trusted data sources. These do not require the user to provide a specific government ID number.
Some countries support both — a government registry check for specific ID types, and non-registry eKYC for broader lookup-based verification.
