Overview

AiPrise verifies Kazakh businesses by their Business Identification Number (BIN) against the records of the Bureau of National Statistics. A business verification returns the company profile, the VAT registration status and, when listed, a contact person.

Statuses and legal forms

Every result carries a status in registration_info.status and an AiPrise status in registration_info.normalised_status. The normalised status is one of Active, Suspended, Dormant, Dissolved / Struck Off, In Liquidation / Insolvency or Unknown.

The status reflects VAT registration, not the company's legal status. entity_type is empty for Kazakh results.

Quirks and gotchas

Country-specific behaviour to know before you integrate.

Quirk	Details
Status is VAT status	`ACTIVE` means the business has a valid VAT registration. Any other case, including a trading company that is not registered for VAT, comes back `INACTIVE` and normalises to `Dormant`. Every Kazakh result in production was `INACTIVE`.
No legal name	In production the legal name came back empty. Match on the BIN, not the name.
Industry codes	The business activity comes back as a NACE code with its title.

Limits

Directors, shareholders, UBOs and documents are not returned.
The legal name, legal form and registration date are not returned.
